Does "shutdown" from the web gui really turn off the USG 110?

There is a button in the Web GUI > Maintenance > Shutdown > Shutdown labeled "Shutdown". But whenever I click that button regardless of the Firmware (4.15, 4.20, 4.31, 4.32) my USG110 does not turn off. It still is running (not as loud as normally) but still running. I cannot access the Web GUI anymore. As there is no turn off switch, i have to unplug the power converter. Is this a normal behaviour or why isnt my USG110 not shutting down?

If you click the shutdown button, the all system processes will be stopped. Therefore, it does not mean "turn off the power."

Dear Charlie
Thank you for you response. In fact, I've checked only the 300er manual. Have now downloaded the 110er manual and voilà!
