Hope someone can help me as i'm really getting nuts here.
I opened a discsuiion already sometime ago. Meanwhile the provider has modified the platform and therefore the setup is much simpler.

I have DSL-Modem in bridged mode what is fully transparent.
On the USG i have configured VLAN7 and a PPPOE dial-in on the WAN side, no issues so far.
Finally i configured Ports 5&6 for Zone lan2 and assigned a subnet to connect the mediareceivers.
Also i created a route for outbound traffic of this subnet.

For the setup of Multicast/IGMP i followed the instructions on below studerus guide and ZYXEL KB article:

On the log i can see IGMPv3 requests then.

Basic connections works, as the receivers can connect to the servers and Unicast streaming from the provider works.

But as soon as you switch to LIVE-TV, the stream stucks after 5 seconds (what basically is the switch from UNICAST to MULTICAST). According to the ZYXEL KB this happens when there's something wrong with the Firewall rule, but i crosschecked it several times.
Anybody any idea or suggestions how to find the issue?
Does someone have a similiar setup what is working fine?

    Dear @HomeUser

Run packcapture on the usg with source ip (mediareceiver) and share that here

At the start i switched from one channel to another.
At least the MULTICAST adresses are aquired correctly.

I did another capture with a Router what supports the IPTV.
You can see after switching the channel it starts with UNICAST and moves over to MULTICAST where it stays.
This cutover i never saw on the USG.
I tested a lot of combinations and starting to think that the IGMP Proxy is buggy on the USG.

    Hi Stanley,
this topic is quite an old topic already.
I provided a lot of data but my guess ist still that there's something wrong with the IGMP Proxy on USG.
Will there be any modifications on the upcomning FW4.33 for this?
