Hi

I have 2 SBG3300-N000 one is my ADSL router, I have another SBG3300-N000 connected to this via LAN acting as a wireless Access point (WAP).

The WAP time is incorrect, the time server's on the WAP are set.

It wouldn't be a problem but I want to use WiFi Scheduling for the children.

    Hello @Terry999
Do you know what version of firmware your devices are running?

According the firmware release notes available in ftp://ftp.zyxel.com/SBG3300-N000/firmware/ there was a time synchronisation bug fixed in 2016.

The newest firmware was released in 2018, see screenshot below.

    as 1.01(AADY.9)C0

The user guide at ftp://ftp.zyxel.com/SBG3300-N000/user_guide/ might help you.

I hope that this is helpful.

    Kind regards,
         Tony

Thanks Tony for taking the time to investigate.

    On Both my routers
    Current Firmware Version: V1.01(AADY.9)
    Current WWAN Package Version: 1.15

So it looks like they are up to date.

The time on the SBG3300 acting as a WAP is 22 Feb 2018 - the year of the update!!

    Hello @Terry999
    Thanks for your reply.

You may have found another bug.

My last thought is what happens if you set the First NTP time server to pool.ntp.org
        - this is what I have working in my Zyxel router.
             - other NTP providers may be refusing to provide time for security reasons.

    Kind regards,
         Tony

    Hi Tony

Changed it to pool.ntp.org and rebooted, its gone back a month earlier now it's 01 Jan 2018.

Maybe Time is actually 2yrs earlier in the WAP? A Star Trek style Space Time distortion?

    Thanks
