SMB1 protocol

I find that I can no longer access the USB drive on my SBG3300 N network. Windows 10 Pro warns that this is because the long time deprecated SMB1 protocol is required. SMB1 presents a security breach. Is this requirement a shortfall in the SBG firmware?

Since the Windows10's SMB1 is disabled by default, please check the direction to enable it.

Many thanks. I understand that SMB1 is disabled as a security precaution; does this mean that I should not access my USB data via the SBG3300?

@jeffjohn1941,
The request "SBG Series support file sharing with SMBv2 or SMBv3", I would like to move your request to the ideas section."
