Network Discovery over SSL VPN
Options
Hi Zyxel Community,
I have a question if it is possible to make network discovery work on Domain joined computers connected over the SSL VPN connection.
I have checked to allow NetBIOS broadcasting and have WINS server configured. Forcing all the traffic over the tunnel. But no luck to see network devices under the Network tab within the Windows file explorer.
Access to network resources works perfectly fine using IP address, FQDN and even the short name or resources. But there is no devices displayed un the "Network".
Any possible fixes/solution or ideas?
Thanks,
Val

Hi @Val
Network device discovery is working on “Computer Browser” service which is one of broadcast protocol. Currently USG only support for “NetBIOS”.
So that’s why SSL VPN Client can resolve address without problem but unable to discover network device in list.
