I have a Windows 10 computer with a network bridge (two lans bundle) connected to a GS1920-8HP.
Before is a Gargoyle Asus Router with Openwrt beeing used.
As soon as i connect the network bridge and set it to link aggregation static on the Zyxel Switch i get in syslog a lots of

<28>jul 17 00:46:21 5minutesp miniupnpd[5027]: ssdp packet sender [fd30:5c25:ad1b::1]:45419 (if_index=-1) not from a lan, ignoring

<4>jul 17 00:46:50 5minutesp kernel: [ 858.438927] br-lan: received packet on eth0.1 with own address as source address (addr:62:38:e0:c7:d4:b0, vlan:0)

Messages and on the port connected from zyxel to my router
multicast storm detected as syslog message from zyxel Switch.

What can i do to handle this?
Because of this storm my router has a stops in ping

And my syslog gets full very quick :/

Maybe somehow solved by taggin?

    Hi @grazer75

    Welcome to Zyxel commnity.

    Because it now seems to have loops causing storm in your network, where the loops are probably caused by failed negotiation of link aggregation.
    I have a Windows 10 computer with a network bridge (two lans bundle)
    Are you sure this is an application for link aggregation?

    According to your description, the GS1920 is to replace original ASUS router, correct?
    We wonder if the ASUS router also enabled static link aggregation on the two ports to your PC?

    You may also see below link for your reference if NIC teaming is actually what you seek.

    Messages and on the port connected from zyxel to my router
    multicast storm detected as syslog message from zyxel Switch.
    Did you mean this kind of log on your GS1920?

    If yes, I'm assuming you've configured broadcast storm control (for multicast) in the switch?
    Could you share your GS1920's config for us?

    After receiving multicast storm from my router (which goes into the internet over a brige mode internet cable modem.
    I configured yesterday storm control, but i am not really sure what parameters data i fill and how to find easily out which might be the best to put. Also i read storm control in other switches turns off the port for a time (is this the same with gs1920? but i didn`t see a time to set)

    I have changed Windows Network Bridge to NIC Teaming INTEL as Windows 10 has stopped supporting this native.
    From what are multicast storm coming? Can i prevent it on the router too somehow?

    @grazer75

    It seems you're using Nebula cloud mode on your GS1920-8HP according to the screenshot.
    Therefore, I'll transfer this thread to Nebula section accordingly.
    Our Nebula agents will help you there.

    Hi @grazer75,

    For your question, the action of storm control on Nebula Switch is Rate-limitation by default, that is, the packet over the limitation you configure will be dropped, so the port will not shut down.

    You should be able to check the event log of the Switch that what port happened multicast storm.

    You may also configure mirror feature at Switch > Configure > Switch settings to capture the packet to see the source of the multicast packets.

    Hope it helps.
