What is the number of hots that I can handle by DHCP in every interface of ATP200?

Dear Support,

We are setting an ATP200 for a School project where we have many wireless users like smartphones and laptops, we are integrating the solution with Aruba Instant On APs, and on this AP we have 4 SSIDs mapped to 4 Vlans, in some SSIDs we need almost provide 800 IP address from the firewall.

We noted that when we used example Vlan 3 with network 30.30.28.0/22 and in another Vlan or Lan1 same mask we have many issues to deliver the IP to the host, and in the logs we see the following: Cannot find any lease for this client - D8:68:C3:AE:41:45, DHCP pool full!

Can you help us to confirm what is the capacity of ATP200 to deliver IP by interface, example Interface Lan1, Vlan 1, etc?

We are using at the moment the following interface with DHCP server enabled:

Vlan2_Estudiantes: SUBNET 20.20.20.0/22

Vlan3_Profesores: SUBNET 30.30.30.0/24

Vlan4_Admon: SUBNET 40.40.40.0/24

Vlan5_Invitados SUBNET 50.50.48.0/22

LAN1_SUBNET INTERFACE SUBNET Lan1_Local-172.28.16.0/24

Thanks and BR,

Fernando.

    Hi @Fernando

    Welcome to Zyxel community.

There is no specific limitation on DHCP IP delivery unless you configured the DHCP Pool size.

In your scenario, you can just enlarge your subnet mask. For example, from /24 to /22 to expand the IP range.

    Hi @Fernando

You can also edit interface to short the lease time of DHCP server,

Go to Configuration > Network > Interface > Ethernet > select the interface which provide DHCP > click Edit
