[NEBULA] Trouble when adding AP to Nebula

Hi,

I bought 4 NWA1123-AC Pro to cover my building.

The AP work well when in standalone mode, but as soon as I add them to Nebula by registering the S/N and MAC, they stop working (power green, Nebula connexion orange blinking)... Any Idea?

    Hi @dgoguet,

    When you registered the AP to Nebula, the AP will connect to Nebula and transfer mode from standalone to cloud. The LED shows blinking amber when connecting to NCC. Please keep TCP port 6667/4335 and UDP port 123 unblocked by firewall for AP and NCC connection. It takes about 5-10 minutes to transfer the mode and sync configuration on Nebula.

    The firewall administrator is asking me some extra informations to avoid security risks:

    • Do the ports need all to be opened in both ways (in and out traffic)?
    • What is the IP adress or FQDN of the cloud service contacted by the AP's?

    Hi @dgoguet,

    Besides Alfonso's information, here are two more information for you.

    TCP 4335/6667: Both ports used for device netconf connection and management to Nebula Control Center.

    FQDN:

    s.nebula.zyxel.com - For Nebula Cloud Management

    *.pool.ntp.org - Network Time protocol

    You can check detail information in HELP> Firewall information.

    Hi,
    i am managing hundreds of NWA1123v2. the APs randomly lost connection to nebula, the current workaround is to hard reset the AP and it works for few days and will be disconnected again.
    what seems to be the problem?
