have updated the app yesterday and now when running diagnostic internet speed test it shows 0 which is wrong as internet is working ok and running at normal speed. It shows this problem on all nodes tested, the data test between nodes seems to be working as normal with expected speeds being displayed.

This is known issue of "Diagnose", we will fix it in next official firmware, the schedule would be before the end of June.
Due to there are many URLs with ports in the server list of Ookla Speedtest to bring about parsing issue.
The Diagnose result of Multy App wouldn't affect your LAN/WLAN device speed, because it is not real at this moment. You can directly check with some speed test App/web site.
