Release Note

Nebula 2.0 user interface (beta) -

Common NCC (Organization, Site-wide …etc.) enhancement:

1. New and Existing User experience with new dashboard and customizable visuals
2. Improved performance to help with larger sets of data
3. New and improved table column sorting … a little more intelligence
4. Improved time picker of Event log and Change log
5. Quick access to MSP portal is included in Choose organization portal
6. IP address details is included in Firewall information page
7. Added Smart guest/VLAN network feature to ease the VLAN creation among different types of devices
8. Wizard now support Gateway, VLAN and Smart guest network features
9. Smarter Alerting that intelligently looks at topology not just single devices

Wireless LAN (WLAN) enhancements:

1. Introduction of AP & port settings page to provide easier AP related configuration
2. Integration of Smart steering setting in Radio settings page to provide better overview
3. Improved and cleaner design SSID overview page
4. A new SSID availability page combined with the SSID schedule and tagging to provide better overview
5. New Captive Portal theme editing that now allows you to edit in a much rich editor including syntax coloring, and improved preview mode
6. Support WPA2-Mixed mode for legacy Wi-Fi client compatibility

Switching enhancements:

1. All RADIUS related settings have been moved to RADIUS policies page to improve setting flows on RADIUS
2. Introduction of searching Clients by specifying VLAN

In both beta Nebula 2.0 and standard version-

Common NCC (Organization, Site-wide …etc.) enhancement:

1. Device online/offline in-app Push notification is open to Nebula Basic (Free)
2. Add Organization’s name in alert and summary report emails

Wireless LAN (WLAN) enhancements:

1. Support for WAX650S, the 802.11ax (WiFi 6) Dual-Radio Unified Pro Access Point, is preliminarily supported in this release, including important features like OFDMA. The official full support will be in the next major release

Switching enhancements:

1. Support of Multi-Gig port speed and 802.3bt PoE are added for up and coming new switch series

Update 2019-11-26:

The Nebula UI2.0 now includes the following items that were missing at the launch date:

• License calculator in Help menu section.
• Upper menu panel in Choose Organization portal page.
• VPN Usage pop-up window when clicking VPN connection in VPN topology
