Problem with dropping local resources on my LAN while a VPN tunnel is up
I have an issue with a VPN connection. I have a Zywall USG 100 at one site and a USG 50 at another site. The site that has the USG 100 has a PC that has a VPN connection configured on it. I can connect from the PC that has the USG 100 to the USG 50 with no issues I can ping resources as well, but at some point the PC at the site with the USG 100 loses all local resources and the resources that has the USG 50 are working on that PC with no issue. What can I do to keep both networks alive without dropping resources at one site? I also eventually want to configure a site to site VPN once I figure this out. Any advise would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Hi @dcgtechnologies,
PC1---(LAN)USG100(WAN)----VPN----(WAN)USG50(LAN)---PC2
On the web GUI of USG100 and USG50, go to CONFIGURATION > Quick Setup > VPN Setup and follow the instructions to finish site-to-site VPN settings.
After VPN settings are completed, go to CONFIGURATION > VPN > IPSec VPN and dial up the tunnel.
PC1 is able to reach PC2 and vice versa after the tunnel is established.
Here are some configuration examples for your reference.
