I have set up the anti-spam UTM profile per the directions but it does appear to be working. Could it be because all of our email traffic comes through secure SMTP ports (gmail, hotmail, etc.) instead of the standard ones? If so, how do I address this? If not, what else could be causing the problem?

@rookierunnerAnti-Spam can scan SMTP and POP3 which traffic is not encrypted.Since TLS is encrypted data, it won’t be scanned. If mails are SMTP and POP3, make sure Virus Outbreak Detection is enabled in Mail Scan.To check if it is in the signature database, go to CONFIGURATION > UTM Profile > Anti-Virus > Signature, enter the virus name and click “Search”.

I figured that might be the answer. Thank you. Since most of the major email providers (Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo, etc.) use TLS, this service is not helpful and something I will not subscribe too.0
